For us Tovars, today marks the official start of summer. Luis had his last day of work (he's a teacher) on Friday. It's just the first day and we have already spent time with friends, worked on the house, and Luis is currently taking a lovely summer nap.
For the next 10 weeks of summer, it is just Luis and I. School starts back up at the end of August, and we will also be welcoming a new member into our family. We are trying to soak up this sweet time in our marriage while we have it. Enjoy the quiet. Enjoy the sleep. Enjoy the routine. Enjoy it just being the two of us, because soon our world will be turned inside out and upside down by the greatest gift we have ever been given. Although I know that our lives will be filled with a joy that I can't even understand yet, I also want to be thankful for this period of life we are currently still in.
